How do I make a purchase if I find something I like?Simply e-mail me and let me know which piece(s) you want and add your address (or other address if its a gift) to your e-mail. I will reply to you with the total fee (including shipping and any possible discounts) and you can pay me by using PayPal with my e-mail blue.bemusement @ gmail.com.
What are my payment options?Online, the best method to make a purchase is by using PayPal - It's quick, easy to use, and safe. At craft fairs and jewelry parties, I accept cash and cheques.
Do you offer deals for those who purchase multiple items from you?Of course! I have yet to work out a system, but I definitely have deals for customers who purchase multiple items, depending on the quantity. It can be either in $avings or in extra goodies. I also have deals for my loyal return customers and those who help refer me to their friends and family.
Can I change the length or charm etc from a certain jewelry I want to purchase? Do you take custom orders?Definitely (when I'm not traveling). If there's a piece you really like but aren't fond of the length or charm, I can easily change it for you. I can make a whole new piece to suit your tastes as well. I have a huge variety of beads and materials you can choose from - You can tell me what you're looking for (style, length, color, shapes, materials, price range) and I can work on a few ideas until we find one that satisfies you, but if you live nearby we can work on it together in person. Price depends on how intricate the piece is, how long it took me to make, and how expensive the materials are.
What other custom orders do you accept? I make custom little gift bags and starter kits for those who want to give a special gift to a crafty person. I also make jewelry for cats and dogs, with magnetic clasps to void the chance of strangling, but there are limits: I can't make jewelry for cats and dogs that have very long fur, and it might be a good idea to make sure your pet can handle wearing a collar first. Price range is generally 12$-25$. Getting the right length of necklace for your pet is tricky but important, so I need a measurement to start off with, and then work on fitting it with your pet in person.
Is all of your jewelry really one-of-a-kind?Yes. Contrary to most, I refuse to mass produce my creations. Once someone purchases an item and it's mailed to them, I take that item off the list. If someone happens to want one like that, I won't replicated it but I may make one that's similar. I want the person to know that they're the only ones in the world with that piece of jewelry.
How much does shipping cost?Shipping to residents of Canada and the United States is 5$ no matter how much you buy, so the more you buy, the better the deal! If you only end up purchasing a very small and/or lightweight item, I may offer a discount on the shipping fee or give you an extra little goodie.
Can my package be insured?Yes. Simply let me know if you'd like it insured and I'll do so. I have to look into it, but I believe it would cost about 1.25$
How quickly do you ship out your packages?I usually ship out as soon as I receive the payment, which could be on the same day or in a couple of days. When I'm traveling, I get a friend of mine to take care of the shipping for me. All pieces are mailed in a bubble-wrap envelope and can be wrapped and shipped to another address as a gift as well. We can arrange for a pickup if you live nearby and want to avoid the shipping fee and wait.
Do you accept returns?I care about my customers' happiness, so if you're not satisfied with your purchase, I want to work it out! To make sure you get what you expect, don't be afraid to ask for multiple pictures of the piece and in different lighting. I try to make my jewelry sturdy, but if it so happens that something breaks on it shortly after receiving it, let me know and we'll discuss a refund, discount, or fix-up (it depends on the situation).
What is a jewelry party? You must have heard of tupperware parties, candle parties, purse parties... They're all over the place these days! Basically, a person hosts an event where their friends and family show up at the same time to view the sellers' demonstrations of certain catalogue items, who later takes down the names and numbers of those who want to purchase some. Unfortunately, some people think that my parties must be like these and group them into the same category, but they are very different.
My jewelry parties truly are parties, where friends and family gather to chit chat, surrounded by music and a great variety of one-of-a-kind jewelry and accessories for them to try out at their leisure, sift through thousands and thousands of beads and charms, make their own jewelry or have me make them custom pieces, and just have plain old fun without any sales pressure whatsoever!
How do these jewelry parties actually work? There is very little that you need to do to host one: Simply choose a day and time you'd like to host a jewelry party, inform all of your co-workers, friends and family about the event, and make sure there's some tables and space for me to demonstrate my jewelry and space for me to work on new projects. And it doesn't cost you a dime. As a thanks for helping me expose my art to possible future customers, I award you with 10% worth of savings. That means that if I end up selling 500$ worth of jewelry, you get 50$ to spend on whatever jewelry you like or on any custom piece you would like built. Pretty neat, huh? I am very flexible on times and am fine with last-minute requests as well. I have hosted a handful of jewelry parties already and they have always been lots of fun.
But if hosting a jewelry party seems daunting and you would like a more personal tour of my art, you can always stop by for some gypsy shopping! Gypsy Shopping: What's more gypsy-like than having you come over to my "home" to do some shopping? Whether it's a planned event or a last-minute request, I display all of my pieces and beads in and by my van (trailer, table, blanket) and you browse through it all at your leisure with, again, no sales pressure. I can make custom pieces on the spot if that's what you're interested in, and you can look through my thousands of beads to see what you like. I'm like a kid in a candy store when I enter a bead store, so I know what it's like to be able to sift through thousands of beads and charms and I don't mind letting you do the same with mine.
